It was, for me, a 'grower'; I thought it was okay for the first few listens and suddenly I was hooked; now I think it's fabulous. It's one of those records that has its own world that you can close your eyes and disappear into as the songs flow through you, one by one.

Over the final 12 days before the album's release, each song (in the same order they appear on the tracklist) was released and promoted through a variety of outlets.Diamandis gave several large profile performances during early 2015, such as a performance at the Governor's Ball in New York City between the 5 and 7 June. 'Blue' & 'Forget' are each similar & in their own ways melodic & chirpy with both being possible singles "yeah I've been dancing with the devil". 'Gold' a gentle little rocking ballad...one of the best & for a moment the fave "don't think I see what I used to see"...another potential single.
?FROOT? The great surprise of this album is the consistency of the tracks. It's a neat 12 track affair with no duds and opens with 'Happy' which is a reflective sad number (contradicts the title) & even if not exceptional makes for an interesting moment. It is not commercial or fashionable pop, it therefore might not appeal to the large demographic her record company is aiming at right now. The tracks work together and instead of having a few memorable tracks amongst the rest of usual album-filler, Diamandis' FROOT contains track that score points for their own construction and merit.
